In Ancient Roman religious tradition, the Quinquatria or Quinquatrus was a festival sacred to Minerva, celebrated on the 19 March and was named thusly because it was held on the fifth day after the Ides. This festival was sacred to Minerva therefore women were accustomed to consult fortune-tellers and diviners on this day.
